Hac\u00eda referencia a una serie de organizaciones privadas, integradas por t\u00e9cnicos y especialistas e independientes de cualquier Gobierno, a las que se eligi\u00f3 como observadoras de sus asambleas. Aun as\u00ed, la definici\u00f3n de <\/span><b>ONG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que conocemos actualmente, no se determin\u00f3 hasta el 1950 por el Consejo Econ\u00f3mico y Social de las Naciones Unidas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Una Organizaci\u00f3n No Gubernamental<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><b>ONG)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, seg\u00fan la definici\u00f3n de Naciones Unidas, es una agrupaci\u00f3n de ciudadanos voluntarios, sin \u00e1nimo de lucro, que se organizan en un nivel local, nacional o internacional para abordar cuestiones de bienestar p\u00fablico.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las <\/span><b>ONG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> est\u00e1n integradas por personas que tienen un mismo inter\u00e9s y se focalizan en una labor concreta. Cada <\/span><b>ONG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tiene una meta diferente, a pesar de que todos buscan el bienestar del mundo. Por ello, las actividades que pueden desempe\u00f1ar son muy diversas: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desempe\u00f1an una serie de servicios y funciones humanitarias<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Acercan las preocupaciones de los ciudadanos a los gobiernos<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vigilan las pol\u00edticas y que los programas se pongan en pr\u00e1ctica efectivamente<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Animan a que los interesados de la sociedad civil participen a nivel comunitario<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ofrecen an\u00e1lisis y competencia<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sirven como mecanismos de alerta temprana<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Algunas se centran en un tema en concreto, como los derechos humanos, el medio ambiente, \u00a0la salud, la educaci\u00f3n, la transferencia de tecnolog\u00eda, v\u00edctimas de conflictos armados, lucha contra la discriminaci\u00f3n de la mujer, persecuci\u00f3n de la explotaci\u00f3n sexual entre otros.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Las organizaciones no gubernamentales<\/b> <b>ONG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> puede tener diferentes formas jur\u00eddicas: asociaci\u00f3n,\u00a0fundaci\u00f3n<\/span><b>,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> cooperativa, etc. Pueden ser de acuerdo a sus \u00e1mbitos de operaci\u00f3n: locales, nacionales, e internacionales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La manera de conseguir recursos para poder financiarse y poder cumplir los objetivos fijados, b\u00e1sicamente se hacen mediante la <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">colaboraci\u00f3n<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> de:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los ciudadanos<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fondos p\u00fablicos de las diferentes administraciones estatales, locales o auton\u00f3micas y tambi\u00e9n de organismos multilaterales<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Generaci\u00f3n propia de ingresos: por ventas diversas de productos y servicios<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En el caso de las <\/span><b>ONG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en Europa, son fundamentales los aportes o subvenciones de la uni\u00f3n europea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La participaci\u00f3n en una <\/span><b>ONG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> puede ser:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De manera voluntaria<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Que participa de manera altruista. El voluntariado juega un papel muy importante, para la realizaci\u00f3n de sus proyectos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De manera remunerada<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Las personas contratadas reciben un salario por el trabajo realizado.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No obstante la limitaci\u00f3n de los recursos que \u00a0siempre son limitados y la crisis econ\u00f3mica, tambi\u00e9n afect\u00f3 al funcionamiento de las <\/span><b>organizaciones no gubernamentales ONG<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a nivel mundial.
